This Sunday, we will gather online to continue in the spirit of our week of consecration with our friend John Eldridge. Expect to be encouraged!
It’s very telling that the disciples had seen Jesus turn water into wine, heal the sick, raise the dead, walk on water, and feed thousands, yet they never asked Jesus to teach them how to do those things. They saw something else that they asked him to teach them. They saw the secret - union, his intimate connection with God, the father. They asked him how to do that - “Teach us how to pray”? They had been around prayer all their lives, but what they observed with Jesus was very different.
With John Eldridge's help, we will learn more about the reality of this kind of connection we can all participate in.
For those who may have missed the previous four sessions with John, no worries; they’ll all be posted soon on the website so you can take them in when you have the time personally or, better yet, find a few friends and watch them as a group.
Grab a hot beverage and join in the dialogue at 10:30 AM on Sunday. Here is the Zoom link.
Cheers,
Brant
